Slow Cooker Spicy Beef Queso Dip



This Slow Cooker Spicy Beef Queso Dip is a tasty and simple appetizer that is great for parties or getting together with friends on game day. When you mix ground beef, spices, and melted cheese together, you get a tasty and creamy dip that goes great with crunchy tortilla chips.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1 can 10 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions:

Fry the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a pan over medium-low heat until the beef is browned and the onions are soft

Remove any extra grease

Move the beef mixture that has been cooked to a slow cooker

To the slow cooker, add green chilies, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper

Chopped tomatoes should also be added

Mix things together well

Cover and cook on low for two to three hours, stirring every now and then, until the cheese is melted and the dip is hot

When it's done, serve it warm with tortilla chips to dip it in
