Ingredients:
- 1 box cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frosting any flavor
- 2 cups candy melts assorted colors
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a cake pop maker or pan
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water
Mix until well combined
Pour the batter into the cake pop maker or pan and bake according to the manufacturer's instructions or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let the cake pops cool completely
Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl
Add the frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until a dough-like consistency forms
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet
Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions
Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into the melted candy melts and insert it into the cake balls
Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, coating it completely
Allow excess to drip off
Decorate with sprinkles while the candy coating is still wet
Place the decorated cake pops back on the baking sheet and let them cool until the candy coating hardens
