Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Wash the raspberries thoroughly and drain them
In a large saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and water
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, continuing to stir and mash the raspberries with a fork or potato masher
Stir in the cocoa powder, lemon juice, and vanilla extract
Continue to simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until the jam thickens to your desired consistency
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the jam cool for a few minutes
Transfer the chocolate raspberry jam to sterilized jars and seal them tightly
Allow the jam to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator
It will continue to thicken as it cools
Enjoy your homemade Chocolate Raspberry Jam on toast, desserts, or as a delightful condiment!
