Banana Oatmeal Bars - Knead to Cook



These Banana Oatmeal Bars are a nutritious and tasty treat that's perfect for breakfast or as a snack on the go. Packed with the goodness of ripe bananas, oats, and nuts, these bars are naturally sweetened with honey or maple syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts e

  • 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a baking dish

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth

Add almond butter, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas

Stir well to combine

Add the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and raisins or dried cranberries to the banana mixture

Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated

Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, and spread it out evenly

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes

Cut the baked mixture into bars while it's still warm

Allow the bars to cool completely before serving or storing
