Vanilla Cream Filled Doughnuts



Indulge in the delightful taste of homemade vanilla cream-filled doughnuts. These fluffy treats are perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and roll it out to 1/2 inch thickness

Using a doughnut cutter, cut out doughnuts and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350F 175C

Carefully add doughnuts to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side

Remove doughnuts from the oil and drain on paper towels

In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla bean paste until stiff peaks form

Transfer the vanilla cream filling into a piping bag fitted with a long, narrow tip

Insert the tip into each doughnut and pipe in the vanilla cream filling

Dust the filled doughnuts with powdered sugar

Serve the Vanilla Cream Filled Doughnuts while they're still warm and enjoy!
